and we're baaaaack

If you made it through my speed blogger catch up congratulations! We have some exciting news to share with everyone.

Liam is going to be a big brother!
We're having a baby and SHE'LL be here in April!!

Liam is already such a good helper we know he's going to love being a big brother. He already talks about his baby sister growing up in mom's belly. (although I'm not sure how much of that he really understands) Will and I are just thrilled and excited about another little one to bring us as much joy and laughter and love as Liam has.

Fayetteville

We went to visit Uncle Waylan in Fayetteville this weekend. What a nice little getaway! liam liked the change of scenery but not the drive so much. We figured it was a good test run for our trip to Minnesota for Christmas, I think we're in trouble. The good thing is he'll watch movies and we'll have Aunt Kate with us to help entertain him! Look closely . . . have you figured out our news?

HATS!!

Have I mentioned that Liam likes hats? You don't believe me? Here's the proof and I do have more if you need it.

horsie, hammertime, and hunting extreme

Here are a few shots of the fun we have after we check out at the grocery store. First he rides the horsie then he does the "hammer" to the extreme hunting game's music, and finally he tries to grab both guns and make them do whatever it is that bright orange guns are supposed to do. But buddy, it's fun and it helps him forget about whatever toy I just made him put back at the checkout!

haircut, maybe?

We are well overdue for a haircut. Will gives Liam his bath every night and gets him ready for bed and since it's getting colder they'll blow dry his hair. This special evening Will decided to blow it straight up and this is what we got. I think Liam prefers it like this he was dancing around singing and showing off for the rest of the night.

Happy Halloween!

We must have listed a hundred things when we were asking Liam what he wanted to be for Halloween the ONLY thing he said yes to was a punkin patch. Will and Liam went around the neighborhood and then came home to help hand out candy. We got away with only giving Liam one sucker that night. He'd have it for a little while, then put it away, then have a little more and he didn't know any different. It was shaped like a ball and was a sucker so Liam called it his "sucker ball."

Corn Maze

We didn't make it too far in the maze before Liam decided he was done. But before we turned around Brittney showed him what we were actually walking through, CORN! I love this look on his face when he realized there was corn in those "trees"

Pumpkin Patch

Liam and his buddy Cooper had a fun day at the pumpkin patch. Liam has really gotten into the Fall season. He loves pumpkins and calls them "punkin patch" regardless of how many there may be. The last shot shows his "cheese face" We have the hardest time getting a photo without this face . . . once he sees the camera that's all he does . . . cheeeese!

ride it

Wherever we go Liam sees something he wants to ride/drive. At the grocery store it's a horse or a tractor and here at home he likes his car and tricycle. His personal favorite is anyone's foot when they've crossed their legs, it makes the perfect horsie.

Big boy car seat!

We graduated to a big boy car seat this summer. Liam loves to look out the front window. Not only does he like his new seat but the box lasted us for a couple months as a fort. The wet spot on his pants was from sitting on a grape. That's another thing our summer was filled with . . . fruit any and all kinds.

Happy Fourth of July!

You've heard of Christmas in July well this post is July at Christmas. I realize this post is a little late for the BBQ, corn on the cob, and fireworks spirit but it was one of our favorite times this summer. Liam had so much fun when Jillian and Marcus came to visit us from Minnesota! We can't wait to see them again! Taylor and Kimberly came to the house on the 4th and ate with all of us and then we went to see the fireworks. Liam did really well. He was a little unsure at first but there were no tears!
