baby liam

I love this announcement that my brother Taylor put together for Liam's birth. I can't believe he's already one year old (and a month). He's really been suprising us this last month with all of the new things he's doing. His latest words have been bath, bug, spoon, and lots of no-nos. He likes to shake his head and wave his finger and say no-no. And thankfully he's only been saying no-no to the fireplace, electric outlets and cords, but I hear the no-no's get much more frequent and start to be directed at mom and dad when they aren't doing what the little one wants. This week he started rolling around on the floor. He'll sit on his knees, put his head to the ground and roll to the left or right. Then I'll say roll over and he'll keep rolling and rolling and rolling. He doesn't think about the space he needs for his rolls and sometimes he'll start right next to the couch and be so suprised that it's there halfway through his roll. He's got this great suprise or wow face that I wish I could get on film. He's always doing it, everything he sees makes him say oooohhhhhhh with eyebrows raised and mouth wide open with excitement for his new discovery. Needless to say we are having a great time with this stage. I could go on and on, maybe I will in the next post. I'll also post some then and now photos of Liam. He was such a peanut and now whenever we're out and someone asks how old he is after I tell them they always reply with - he's a big baby. (of course that's after they say what a cutie he is ;) )

more birthday fun
