Liam is officially teething . . . not sure how I feel about that. We had no problems with breastfeeding, no problems with sleeping through the night, no problems with crying for no reason but I think Liam growing teeth is going to be a little more difficult. Before this I knew all the tricks to keep him happy at a restaurant or stop him from fussing during church but now thanks to teething those powers are gone. He's still the sweetest boy we've got though and he's getting better. Last weekend we went to Cabot and stayed the night - I think all the action and break in routine may have worn him out on top of his teething issues.

Despite my handwritten melodrama he had some good laughs last weekend too. The picture below is proof. Will and Liam and I went into a clothing store this afternoon and all the sudden Liam starts laughing out loud. We don't know what brought it on but we looked at each other and then looked back at him and he did it again, just a random laugh. So of course we start talking to him to bring on a few more giggles. It was great - after all the face contorting, silly noise making we've been doing around the house to get a laugh out of him finally he finds something funny enough to laugh out loud . . . I hope it wasn't the shirt I bought!

I took this photo of Liam this morning - he wants to sit up on his own so bad but he's not quite there. He's grown so much in these past few weeks. I find myself stressing out because he's changing so quickly and I love the stage he's in right now. But then I remember the next stage will be fun too!

Here are a few more Mother's Day photos. Uncle Bebo took these after church. It's hard to believe that was a month ago!

PaPa-razzi

PaPa Paul came to visit last week and the camera didn't stop flashing. He arranged his business travel plans so that he could spend some time with Liam which we were thrilled about but that meant Grammy wasn't with him this trip and that made us the opposite of thrilled. Would that be chilled . . . grilled . . . maybe just sad. I feel confident that she got plenty of photos to fill her in on the trip but we still missed having her here.

PaPa got Liam's first official smile back in March so it only seems fair that he was here the weekend that Liam started smiling all the time. We had a great time - here are a few of the photos:
